Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Fifth Quarter cares about your privacy. In this policy we explain which personal data we process, why, and which rights you have. This policy applies to our website and to the services we provide.
Who we are
Fifth Quarter BV is the controller for your data.
Address: Kattebrug 14, 9140 Temse, Belgium. VAT: BE 0787.444.416.
Contact: hello@fifthquarter.be · +32 473 25 70 52.
Which data we collect
- Data you give us, for example through our forms or when you book a call: name, email address, company name and the content of your message.
- Technical data when you visit our website: IP address, browser type and time, as every web server keeps briefly to secure the site and keep it running. If you give your consent, we also use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used (see Cookies).
- Footage that we record on assignment (for clients who buy a programme), according to the agreements in the contract.
Why we process your data and on which legal basis
- To answer your request, send you your leads or your guide, schedule your call and follow up once afterwards (performance of, or steps leading to, a contract). If you request the guide, we can see whether you open it and how far you read.
- To deliver and invoice our services (performance of the contract, legal obligation).
- To secure our website (legitimate interest).
- To measure, with your consent, how visitors use the site, so we can improve pages, guides and forms (consent, which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings).
- To send you, with your consent, relevant information or a newsletter (consent, which you can withdraw at any time). Without your consent we send no newsletter.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data no longer than necessary for the purposes above, and as required by law (for example invoicing data for 7 years). Requests that do not lead to a collaboration are kept for a maximum of 24 months.
Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. We work with processors that help us deliver our services: hosting of the website (Vercel), our customer database (Supabase), email (Resend), the calendar to book a call (cal.com), the video player on the cases (Vimeo) and, only with your consent, website statistics (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager by Google Ireland Limited, and PostHog by PostHog Inc., with servers in the EU). These parties process data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of our suppliers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). In that case we provide appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to hello@fifthquarter.be. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies
On your first visit we ask whether we may measure. If you say yes, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). These set the cookies _ga and _ga_<id>, which last at most 13 months, and show us which pages you view, how you arrived on the site and which forms you submit. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses, and Google Signals and advertising features are switched off. We keep the data for 14 months. When you submit a form, we also store the anonymous Google Analytics ID with your request and, if you came through a Google ad, its click ID (gclid), so we know through which channel you found us. We also load PostHog (servers in the EU). It sets cookies starting with ph_ (at most 1 year) and shows us how visitors click and scroll through the site, including as a recording of a visit. Whatever you type into form fields is always masked in those recordings. If you say no, we load nothing from Google and nothing from PostHog.
We store your choice in a cookie of our own, fq_consent, for 6 months. You can change or withdraw it at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw your consent, we remove the Analytics and PostHog cookies. We do not use marketing cookies (for example from LinkedIn or Google Ads, to measure which ad brought you here) at the moment. Should we add them, it will only be with your consent under Marketing.
The calendar on the Book a call page and the videos on the cases are loaded by cal.com and Vimeo; those services may set their own cookies once you use them.
Your browser does keep two small notes in its own memory, without a cookie. fq_attr remembers through which link or campaign you first and last arrived on the site, so we know where a request comes from. If you consented to measurement, that note stays in your browser for up to 90 days (localStorage); otherwise it disappears as soon as you close the tab (sessionStorage). If you withdraw your consent, we delete it right away. fq_booking_email remembers the email address you entered before the calendar, so you do not have to type it twice; it disappears as soon as you close the tab. We only send them along when you submit a form or book a call yourself.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
Changes
We may change this policy. The most recent version is always on this page, with the date of the last change.
